One time-saving shopping habit I adopted early on was snatching up multiple pieces of essential items like perfect black pants, T-shirts and jeans. This season, my go-to long-sleeve tee is from the Gap.
It has a wonderful soft finish (cotton/modal) that launders beautifully. I love the V-neck (flattering on all women), the easy price tag ($19.50) and the range of hues. I own cinnabar (Buy Direct), black (Buy Direct), juniper green (Buy Direct) and white (Buy Direct). I also really like the fit of Gap's long and lean jeans (they have the perfect rise and a slight bootcut) so I bought those in multiples this season too: dark wash (Buy Direct), medium tint (Buy Direct) and medium wash (Buy Direct).

Thanks for this information
Hi Cynthia, you know what ? I’ve been doing this (Buy Basics in Multiples) since the day my Mum decided (finally) to stop buying clothes for me. Whenever I find something that fits me to a T, I’ll get all the colours……..yes, all in the same design ! My friends have commented that I’m ‘crazy’ to spend the money on the same design. But I know that I’ve done the right thing especially when the same friends complimented on my dress sense.
Bo-ring!!!
