I'm Glad Susan Boyle Got a Makeover

Friday April 24, 2009
susan boyleEvery woman deserves to look her best. Even Susan Boyle who is famous for her awe-inspiring singing on "Britain's Got Talent." Susan (pictured here in a "before" photo) was harshly judged when she walked onstage because of her gray hair, bushy eyebrows and dowdy dress. Once she started singing, Susan was transformed into this beautiful creature who drew a standing ovation (and more than a tear or two of sheer admiration).

But reports today are questioning Susan Boyle's very recent makeover saying it may alienate fans. The makeover appears to consist of hair style and color, brow trimming and a slight wardrobe upgrade. While a makeover isn't going to elevate Susan's singing (which is already perfect) it may help with her self-esteem since her picture is plastered all over the internet. I don't see how looking well-groomed is going to alienate fans; it's not like she went out and got implants and veneers. What do you think? (Photo Credit: Jeff J. Mitchell/Getty Images)

I agree Susan Boyle is going to benefit from a makeover that will enhance her amazing talent, and an Personal Style Coach that does this for a living – just grooming her up a bit and making her more current will not hurt her fan base one bit!

I agree with you. Every woman deserves to look her best. It’s not like she’s going to get plastic surgery. She just needs help in improving her appearance.

I think the make over Susan Boyle got is just fine. It’s not going to interfere with her singing talent. She looks fine to me and I wish her well.

People like their heros/heroines to stay the same. They like to see them stay as they fell in love with them. Like Luther Vandross…everyone I know liked him better big…the same with Oprah Winfrey.
But, I do think she could use a brow lightening and waxing. Other than that, I think she was fine the way she was. If it’s not broken why fix it? :)

It would be better off for Susan Boyle to start doing some makeover. It certainly will benefit her greatly. After all, she has already got an incredible voice, if she could change some appearance such as using light (I do mean LIGHT) makeover with different outfits, then she will rock the world especially if she does win the competition, she will perform in Buckingham Palace in front of the Queen. The makeover will be great. Once again, with her voice and a new look. Go figure!
