Tuesday August 22, 2006
arche bootsDurable and comfortable aren't words you'd normally associate with really cute shoes, but for French shoememaker Arche they are known for modern designs that feel good. i am sure that they are great, but they are $353.95 on zappos (but you get free shipping apparently!). this price point is prohibitive for many people. cynthia, could you recommend a cheaper alternative for those of us who can only spend around $100 on a pair of shoes?

Good point about the boots from Arche. I did find a short pair in that yummy red for less than $100 from Donald Pliner

i agree, you cant beat a really great red shoe.
Fashion - the shoe you are pointing out, as of the time i am posting this, only comes in a size 5.5, and has a three inch heel. the mechanics of that is, in my mind, nearly impossible to imagine.

Who cares how much they are or what size they come in? They are ugly! Besides, you couldn’t see the buckles because the only thing that would make this shoe look good is the top half tucked under some denim. All I can say is PASS
