Finding fabulous tall women's shoes is like finding a needle in a haystack, and when you hear that a shoe designer is discontinuing their larger sizes, it's a sad day indeed. One of the best stores for tall women's shoes, Barefoot Tess, has just sent notification that two of their shoe designers, Madeline and Poetic License, will no longer be providing large-size shoes. So...get them while the gettin' is good! If there's anything better than a fabulous large-size shoe, it's a discontinued fabulous large-size shoe! When your friends ask where you got it, you can reply with flair, "Well, I got it from Barefoot Tess, but this style is discontinued, so you may have a hard time finding one as great as this."

The shoes I'm craving most this spring?

  1. Animal print flats. This spring's animal prints include lovely, bright colors, and I want a pair of multi-color flats in aqua, purple and yellow. Not sure about bright colors? Good ol' leopard and zebra print are hot looks as well.
  2. Natural-fiber wedges. Nothing says "spring" like showing your inner-environmentalist with natural fiber wedges in canvas, cotton, jute and hemp.
  3. Rain boots! If all of spring's showers are dampening your mood, brighten up your glum attitude with a couple pairs of fun-patterend rain boots. I'm craving a pair of floral lace-ups.
  4. Colorblock heels. Bright colors abound as flowers start to bloom, and it's time you take a cue from nature and liven up your dead winter wardrobe with bright colorblock heels. Nothing makes an old outfit "pop" more than a well-chosen pair of bright-colored heels.
