Just interested in the fashion? There will be plenty of that on hand, too, with many retailers featuring live fashion shows, styling events and a glimpse of the latest styles.
Where to Find a Fashion's Night Out Event in New York City
Although there will be events all over the globe, the main event for Fashion's Night Out is definitely in New York City. You'll find retailers -- including everything from small boutiques to mega merchants like Macy's -- participating in the event.Check out the official guide on Fashion's Night Out. The city will be full of parties for the Fashion's Night Out, which has official hours of 6-11 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
Highlights
Events vary by retailer, including hair braiding by Rebecca Minkoff at Saks Fifth Avenue and a Jason Wu Fashion's Night Out doll signing at Bloomingdales. Stores like Ann Taylor in New York will host a styling session for five pre-registered lucky clients by a Vogue editor, while at Anthropologie in Miami there were be personal styling.Other retailers, like Bloomingdales in NY, are offering free entertainment. Keds is sponsoring the New York band Beach Fossils which will be playing at 7 p.m.
Guess stores -- three locations in New York and one in Los Angeles -- are offering goodies like mini-manicures, mini-makeovers and sweets (depending on location.

Plan a last-minute trip to New York for Fashion's Night Out by booking a hotel in conjunction with the event (and even if you can't make it that night, some of the hotel packages are good through the end of 2011.)Outside New York
Although the main festivities are in New York, cities all over the U.S. and Cananda are hosting great events.For example, in Dallas head over to the Galleria mall for Fashion's Night Out and enjoy everything from snacks to gift with purchase to discounts.
In Miami you can party, get makeovers and view a live fashion show at the Dadeland Mall.

This year, for the first time, there will also be Fashion's Night Out activities online so you can join in the fun, from the comfort of your own home.
