Here's what Anina told us about mixing the fashion and tech worlds:
Q. When did your modeling career start?
A. A stylist asked me if I wanted to be in a photo shoot and I said yes! I was living in New York City at the time. We did the shooting and the pictures were published in a fashion magazine. Then she introduced me to another photographer who shot me for a big magazine and introduced me to an agent who introduced me to a French agent from Paris. From there on it was working and flying all over the world.
After two years of constant travel, I decided to quit modeling. I flew to New York... www.anina.net was born!
I was approached in the street to do a shoot for Maybelline and I started modeling again. I flew back to Europe.
Q. What publications, campaigns, or runway shows have you been in?
A. On the runway: Sonia Rykiel, Dries van Noten, and Salvatore Ferragamo. For haute couture: Turkish designer Yildirim Mayrukin. I have done beauty shoots in New York.
