Personally, I think florals are hard to pull off. This is especially true on tall women who have a lot of area to cover when donning floral clothing. If you love the flowery look, try it by purchasing a floral skirt and pairing it with a solid, neutral-colored top. A bottom-half floral pattern will look cute and flirty without driving anyone to distraction.
If you absolutely must purchase a floral-print top, try to choose one with a small design in same-colored tones. When you go for a multitude of bold, bright, Hawaiian-like flowers up top, the shirt ends up wearing you instead of the other way around.
