Although there was much controversy over Canada's Olympic uniforms earlier, the Opening Ceremony look from Hudson's Bay Company was a toned down version featuring "Canada" written in bamboo-inspired script as a nod to Chinese calligraphy. According to Hbc.com, "Canada's Olympic team members in Bejing each received 25 items as part of the 2008 team package, including leisure wear, jackets, pants and shorts, hoodies, T-shirts, shoes and luggage."
