What:

Just My Cup of Tea is a charming melting pot of all things stylish. Not only is it frequently updated with cheery posts, but you can also find ultra-hip photo albums filled with a mix of punchy snapshots and web graphics, random “favorites” lists, and a link library that’s as unique as it is extensive.

Who:

This is the hip creation of Beth, a 20-something living in New York. The corporate philanthropist by day/blogger by evening has a knack for incorporating tidbits about everything from fancy cupcakes to pug puppies to home decorating with her everyday posts about clothing, fashion magazines, and shopping.

Where:

Located in Brooklyn, “my blog office is my small home office which is currently BURIED in fashion magazines, dog toys and Christmas cards,” Beth says.

Why:

Just My Cup of Tea stemmed from a love for journaling, as well as a desire for a creative, fashion-focused canvas provides a perfect change of pace from an all-about-business day job for the writer. “ I can take it in any direction I like – I get to be the editor-in-chief, the creative director and the publisher.” What began as a simple text format has morphed into a something of a scrapbook with the aid of a scanner, digital camera, and eye for taking photographs.

Inspiration:

Beth is always on the prowl for quirky web sites. “My tastes change all the time and I am ALWAYS finding new things to be inspired by ,” she says. A few specific favorites include Glam, Fred Flare, Plum Party, and Cut+Paste, and she often visits her friend’s blogs, like Oh Joy and Miss Andrea, which happen to be just as witty and cute as her own!

Notable Quote:

“I absolutely love fashion. Period. Learning about it, writing about it, exploring it, in my own way, is such a fun hobby.”

Feedback:

This blog thrives on friendly comments from both personal friends and stylish observers. “I love getting comments. It makes me feel like I'm in the "right track,” Beth notes. She doesn’t get paid for her time spent blogging–it’s all about the fun and fashion–but she is signed up with a few affiliate programs, including the Glam Blog Network.
