Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, singer, songwriter and former model, married French President Nicolas Sarkozy in 2008. The 5'9" Carla is probably better known for her sex appeal and her classy clothing than for her political clout, but she launched the website CarlaBruniSarkozy.org in 2009 in an effort to promote a number of philanthropic efforts.
