It became clear after several days on the North American tour, that Kate Middleton prefers tailored dresses in neutral colors. These dresses hug her body without being overly tight, and they're always cinched in at the waist. The Duchess of Cambridge's body is so narrow that the dresses often have wider shoulders and darts at the waist to give the impression of an hourglass figure.
