This duplicate ivory wedding dress -- which according to the auction house that sold it was worn by Princess Diana for fittings; the designers themselves said that it was only ever made for public viewings -- by David and Elizabeth Emanuel mirrors the actual dress that Princess Diana wore in 1981 to marry Prince Charles.
The wedding, which was seen by 500 million TV viewers, was definitely the stuff fairy tales are made of. The 20-year-old bride wore a romantic ivory silk dress that featured a 25-foot train, antique lace and 10,000 mother-of-pearl sequins.
