Hit: Leighton Meester

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) dresses as well off the small screen as she does on. For a recent public appearance she chose this sleeveless ruffle-front blouse -- the pretty blouse being a big spring trend -- and pencil skirt.

Just like her character Blair, Leighton punches the basics up with color. On Gossip Girl her character wears colorful tights; here she chose a skinny red belt. And her new shorter hair 'do looks great, too (but will it look as smashing in headbands and turbans as Leighton's long locks did?)
