Natalie Portman is an incredible beauty and her choice of a black strapless lace vintage Chanel dress from the '50s showed off her youthful glow to perfection. With her pixie cut and minimal makeup she was refreshingly adorable, but in no way plain: her belted dress had a sparkly brooch, but that was the only jewelry (she doesn't even carry a handbag!)

Geena Davis -- all real-woman curves and pale, unchiseled arms that have never seen either a Mystic tan or an S-Factor workout -- is the intelligent woman's fashion icon. She has a great dimpled smile and wears her age well (40-something) without looking like she's trying too hard to stay young (That's right Melanie Griffith: We're talking about you!)
