Some of our favorite red carpet dresses have been worn by Cate Blanchett: the gunmental Armani, yellow Valentino and periwinkle Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few.

Cate Blanchett has quipped that "The frocks choose you" and she is usually flawless on the red carept. But occasionally pushes the boundaries of accepted taste with her choices (like the Armani Prive gown we thought was one of 2007 worst dresses).
