Worst Fashion Trends of 2006

In 2006, TVs and phones got even thinner, the Banana Republic picked up 00 sizes and jeans looked painted on. The international fashion industry even feigned mock horror at how skinny the models were getting (What? Models skinny? No way!) and Spain took steps to kick the underweight beauties off the runway. But in fashion, super skinny is still the ideal: "It`s very difficult for a designer to take model when they are not skinny. I`m sorry. Skinny, I don`t know what you mean about skinny," design legend Valentino told "Showbiz Tonight." Last year, we saw the beginnings of this shrinkfest and called it "Scrawny Chic" as it started with celebs like Nicole Richie.
