For the past 20 years the Council of Fashion Designers of America has honored the industry's brightest talent. Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and Miuccia Prada have all received CFDA awards through the years. This year's event took place June 14 at Lincoln Center in New York City. Actress Sandra Bernhard emceed the show and recording artist Usher performed at the post-awards bash. Calvin Klein, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award, was hit with a tofu pie on his way to the event. The pie was reportedly thrown in protest of his use of furs.
