Guide Review - "The Looks Book" by Rebecca Odes, Esther Drill, and Heather McDonald
This great little handbook is too hip to pass up. The cool beauty history chapter has lots of little-known facts and interesting takes on what beauty really is. Real teen girls with smart, relatable opinions cover all topics (or body parts, to be more specific) on body image. The guide to style is perfect if you want to experiment with your style (from "ice queen" to "goth") because it includes ways to achieve the look, and "In Action" - a list of movies and celebrities that show that specific look. After reading this, you'll have a great grasp on different styles (and how to achieve them), a little knowledge on the history of fashion, plus a little extra confidence (either in the way you dress or that faulty body part - or both!)
