Mixed messages
 The head is
shrouded with a veil-like wrap, which suggests a need for modesty and conformity (such as
Islamic women wear).The almost-menswear jacket (tuxedo lapel touches) and rounded shoulders hint at a masculine strength, while the absence of shirt signifies a womanliness underneath. Below the waist (the erotic zone), is where the true exoticness of the outfit lies. Harem pants, commonly associated with belly dancing, have extravagent fullness of fabric in the thighs and leg, coming to a tight closure at the bottom of the pant, suggesting an inaccessible flirtation (look, but don't touch).
