It's the universal fashion language of cool. It wears great and comes in every imaginable style, size and price. Find out everything you need to know about leather this season, including what styles are hot, a glossary of leather terms, and tips for caring for your investment.

Buzz
Finally! Daily news headline updates, new and soon-to-open sites and more -- all on one page. The brand new "Buzz" page is fresh everyday!

Like clockwork
I've reworked the features section of the site to include four regular articles that you can look for each month. Here's a rundown:
1. Trend Test -- This is where I actually buy a trendy item (tie-on fur collar is coming up this
month) and give it a road test. See a sample.
2. Design Byte -- The scoop on your fave designers, including tidbits you may not have heard before. Here's one on Donna Karan.
3. Style Scoop -- This new feature talks about fashion trends that may be part of a lifestyle trend
as well. This month, the feature was about gold -- "Gilty Pleasures"
4. All About... -- Once a month we'll look at a major trend or classification that deserves more
in-depth attention, including trend reports, item care, glossaries, resources and more. This month
it's "All about leather" (see the first link in the newsletter) and last month it was "All about shoes"

As always, I welcome comments, suggestions, even a bit of harassment if you think it will improve the site's features. Shoot me an email --

Gab: Help!
"HELP! I've never skied in my whole life and my boyfriend's parents have invited us for a ski holiday this new year. What are the essentials to look good skiing and apres-ski? Thanks a million!" -- MAXIEATAN

"Hi, I am stuck in a fashion rut. I am from the northeast and wear black. I can't even tell you how many pairs of black pants I have. My shirts are red, black and grey and some blue. I wear black pants every day and I'm looking for a little change. I am looking to try something new but not too weird. Any suggestions?" -- KRISTYN25

You've done it yourself a million times -- taken a second glance at a fashion disaster in action. Maybe you're too nice to say anything (or too chicken to snap a photo), but, luckily for you, I'm having a blast capturing this sort of stuff on film and sharing it with the world.
The brand new "Fashion Police" shows the November installment of style victims strutting their stuff on the streets of New York.
But I need some help, so I'm calling on all aspiring shutterbugs and amateur critics to submit their "Fashion Police" photos (don't worry, the faces are covered to protect the innocent)

Don't forget, you can also have a version of this newsletter emailed to you! Subscribe today!

Here's to looking great!
