Looks like fashionable Texans will be in charge of White House style during the Inauguration.
Dallas designer Michael Faircloth has been whipping up Laura Bush's proper suits for seven years, but he's going glam with red, crystal and Chantilly lace for the incoming First Lady's Inaugural Ball gown. Newsweek reports that Laura will complete the look with a Judith Leiber purse, Stuart Weitzman shoes and more than 40 carats of rubies.
Former Texan Lela Rose, now based in New York, will be dressing the Bush twins for the daytime events; Susan Dell of Austin (yes, THAT Dell -- she's gazillionaire Michael Dell's wife) designed the Inaugural Ball dresses for the girls.
