Where would we be without denim?

Jeans, jackets and skirts are absolute musts for any modern girl's wardrobe.

For '02, denim continues to be a fashion staple. Here's how to wear it and what's hot:

Tips

  • Head to toe denim is way too much! Go with just one piece at a time instead.
  • The perfect fit is always the key to a good pair of jeans. You may have to try on a dozen pair first, but consider buying two of anything that is just right (if you love it and it looks great, you'll get your use out of it).
  • Lower, good-sized back pockets flatter more than high, small, or non-existint pockets.
  • A long, slim bootcut fit looks good on nearly everyone.
  • Lowrise jeans are actually very flattering - and really trendy.

Top Five Looks

sandals.
