Do you tend to get carried away with the details during the holiday season? Yesterday, I was stressed out because I bought snowman paper plates for my three-year-old daughter's cookie baking party when the theme was gingerbread men. Sounds silly, but lots of us women spend so much time on the details for others during the holidays -- buying presents, sending out holiday cards, baking, wrapping and cleaning -- that the last thing on our minds is what we're going to wear. Except for formal occasions, I like to go the easy route and buy special tops (I love black lace and velvet) and mix them with denim for casual get-togethers or dressy black pants.
