Michelle Obama took to the stage in a custom pink, gold and blue-gray Tracy Reese dress. The cut of the dress showed off Michelle's best feature: her incredibly toned arms. She paired the dress with J Crew heels in Rhubarb, according to the Wall Street Journal.
I've interviewed Tracy Reese before and attended most of her fashion shows. Her dresses are affordable (under $500) although they are sold along with other upper-end lines. She's known for a great use of color and feminine details.
I thought Michelle Obama looked great: the cut, texture and color of the dress looked perfect at the podium. It also perfectly reflected the First Lady's amazing speech as it showed off strength (those arms!) and love (the color pink.)
