If there's one style that's near and dear to my heart, it's definitely western style. As I sit here writing this blog while I'm at my Texas ranch looking at my horses out the window, I must confess that I love all things western. Bling? Studs? Tooled leather? Jeans? Got it, love it, wear it.
The key to pulling off western style is to blend cowboy elements -- boots, jeans, leather -- with feminine accents -- pretty tops, ruffles, lace, turquoise, silver. It's that masculine/feminine vibe that makes the look work so well. Even if you don't want to go full-on cowgirl, you can give your city look a little American West recharge by adding something sweet like a chambray tiered dress or chunky turquoise necklace.
