Emmy Fashion, 2009: Sparkle, Grecian and Red

Good, old-fashioned glamour made a return to the Emmys red carpet in the form of bright red (always good for awards shows), beaded everything and Grecian draping. My favorite looks for the night were "Gossip Girl" Blake Lively in a cut-to-there red Versace and Jennifer Carpenter (frankly, I've never seen her show "Dexter" but it's fashion we're talking about, not acting) in a stunning nude and black beaded one-shoulder gown.
