Fashion Week, Day 3: Oh to Wear Only Chado Ralph Rucci

Chado Ralph Rucci is neither trendy nor hot, but he consistently turns out exquisite, couture-level pieces that women love. If you are in the rare crowd that can afford him -- like Martha Stewart who sat across from me -- you would want to drape yourself in his feathers, tucks, twists and wispy layers (I'm still obsessing over this black fringed capelet. I just know it would complete me, in a sartorial sense.)

Georges Chakra also showed on Day 3 of Fashion Week and turned out some very pretty, red-carpet-worthy dresses with interesting hardware for a bit of edge. Andy & Debb showed cute little petal-back jackets and office-ready dresses; Lacoste appealed to the sporty crowd with their usual tennis wear and casual pieces.
