Christmas Sweaters: Too Cute or Tacky?

If you're in a competitive mood this season, send pics of your tackiest Christmas sweater to CNN.com for their iReport.com contest. While some women hate glitzed-out Christmas sweaters, others -- especially those who have or work around young kids -- think a bit of holiday bling is just fine.

I don’t understand the popularity of Christmas sweaters. I don’t know a single 20-year-old who likes them, so where do these 40-year-old holiday sweater afficianados come from? A reindeer pin or a snowflake pendant can be cute and festive. But there’s no reason to wear a giant a Christmas tree on your chest. Same goes for Halloween sweaters, which seem to be growing in popularity.
I have no idea why anybody would wear these sweaters. The colors do little to enhance anybody’s features.
