All the chic of a scarf, none of the fuss: here's a clever accessory we could all use this winter. Alfani's chunky neck ring (Buy Direct) functions like a scarf, but there aren't any loose ends to mess with. The neck ring, which comes in 4 neutral colors, also coordinates with the beret and fingerless gloves (I can't really decide if I love the fingerless gloves or not. eh, I don’t know about this one. Looks a little weird.
I actually think it’s great! You can wear it just like a scarf! On a Tee or even on your coat. I would like a longer one though and I’d put it 2 times around my neck.

I first saw these on Mary Kate a few years back when she was at NYU and they aren’t really that different from a regular scarf except that they don’t fall off and have a million uses!
American Apparel has lightweight ones now and even has a little guide showing all the different ways to wear them.
