Amid the ruffles, florals and grunge mixes, Vera Wang's stellar collection stood out as an intellectual alternative to the fluff. Vera used whisper-thin sheer layers over separates and shifts; her moody color palette (which in seasons past didn't seem as spot-on as this collection) was the perfect foil for her chunky statement necklaces. Vera Wang’s collection,(which, for me, contained a few ridiculous pieces), was made to look MORE ridiculous by putting the clothing on girls who look to be 14 years old. Give me some mature models who know how to perform!
