Tuesday Fashion Find: Red Scarf

Tuesday August 12, 2008
red scarfOne of the easiest ways to transform your current wardrobe is to add updated accessories. And the scarf is definitely the accessory of the moment. This red cotton square scarf from A Peace Treaty (Buy Direct) is a substantial 3 feet X 3 feet so you'll have plenty of fabric to play with.

Three easy ways to wear a scarf:

  • Fold a square scarf over once into a triangle and tie the ends behind your neck.Fold the scarf into a triangle, but let the ends dangle on your shoulder instead of tying them.
  • Wear a long skinny scarf wrapped around your neck by taking the ends, tossing over your shoulder, wrapping behind the neck and letting the long ends dangle.

I wear a lot of black and a pretty silk scarf totally changes the somber look. My favorite are long, rectangular ones, since they stay in place the best.

I would never wear red scarf in the big city. Why??? A gang member may shoot me by random thinking I would be a member of the other gang.
