After 20 years in the biz, supermodel Naomi Campbell is one of the most recognizable faces of fashion. But she is even more famous for her violent outbursts than her modeling. Most frequently, Naomi received 200 hours of community service for assaulting 2 police officers. She's done community service before, (for throwing her cell phone at her housekeeper) and she's thrown phones (allegedly beating her assistant with a Blackberry). Both assistants and maids have accused the model of attacking them. But despite all of this, Naomi Campbell did a recent interview with The Daily Mirror where she stated "I'm not a bad person." She went on to say she does charitable work, presumably like the pictured visit with fellow model Tyson Beckford to visit Lagos Island Maternity ward on July 13, 2008 in Lagos, Nigeria.Besides the larger question of Would you let Naomi Campbell hold your baby? I always get suspicious of troubled celebs who suddenly appear in photo ops as do-gooders. What do you think?

I think that this article is really sad. Naomi is a top class model and broke a lot of barriers when she first started modelling. In recent times, she has been more reknowned for her outbursts, but she has always been involved in charity work. So for your article to convey the idea that she is only doing charity work because of her recent bad press is not only misleading, but overlooks the vast amount of work that she has done for charities across the world. I am not a fan of the outbursts and do not condone it, but give credit where it is due, she is a fantastic model and has done a great deal for communities across the world.
