From loose-fitting minis to buttoned-up shirtdresses, the dress has been the biggest fashion news of the year.That doesn't mean that everyone got the dress right, especially on the slippery red carpet where trends don't necessarily translate to the celebrity.

Way to not allow any individualism or imagination in fashion. I think that Helena Bonham Carter’s outfit is awesome and very fitting (including the boots) for the event that she was attending. Every other woman there was probly wishing that she had the guts (and the build) to pull off such a great ensamble.

Fashion expresses ones personality and I feel that as an actor and the way she carries herself the dress shows her character
The whole Fashion industry at this top celebrity level is a chance for a designer to display their creations as an artist would his canvases, you know, let creativity run wild, it really is like painting with clothes.This will obviously lead to some real exuberant clothes being draped over an unsuspecting superstar thinking it is a cool move and a legitimate advert for a well known fashion designer. Unfortunately this quite often results in the superstar looking like an overgrown pantomime parrot! A good sense of self ridicule would be a bonus here.
