Fashion Week, Day Two: Not Much to Love Yet

The collections have been all over the place, from tired scarf prints to graphic color blocking to ethereal volume: none of which really knocked me out. I'm not a fashion snob -- only seeking what's totally fresh and new and now -- but my theory is, that if I don't see anything I like, what's going to motivate you to go to the store to buy this stuff next spring?My favorite piece of the day was an ombre dress in cobalt and white with jeweled straps from Badgley Mischka. It would be refreshing to see models who actually eat. This level of thinness being celebrated puts incredible pressure on women and girls to reach a standard that is unattainable and unhealthy for most of the population.
