I think she looks very cute. ageism is like racism, it’s so outdated. My dad loves seeing my mom in pigtails, why shouldn’t women look cute their whole lives, don’t you want to? we create our own world.
I totally agree Mia is absolutely Beautiful and certainly don’t look a day over 30. Now if she was looking as old as this women

It would look kinda weird. Some looks don’t look great on certain people regardless of age and look. Some older people can carry of younger looks better than younger people. Even with Mia’s she’s been rockin that kinda of style for long time.
It doesn’t really matter, but I would like to assume that grown women want to look grown. I don’t see the fascination with looking like a little girl
Gee, I sure hope I look even close to that good when I’m 61. I think a look has a lot to do with who wears it and how it’s worn. I think Mia looks cute here. Cyndi Lauper still dresses young and funky (though updated from the 80’s) and looks fantastic when I catch her occasionally in pictures or on a talk show. It really depends upon the person. Keep in mind, too: this picture of Mia was taken at the premier of a children’s movie, not an awards ceremony. I applaud anyone who lets their inner-fashion-self shine and disregards what the rest of us think of it. Be comfortable with who you are, I say! Happiness can’t be purchased for any price and is the best fashion you can wear.
She is so together in every way. She looks great!! She knows who she is and I think she is beautiful inside and out. If only all people could have her humanity and love!
You have GOT to be kidding. She looks absolutely fabulous, and can get away with anything she wants to wear.
Should she be stuck in tailored polyester with a traditional blue-rinse just because she’s “of a certain age”? Heaven forfend, because I don’t want to be stuck there when it’s my turn, and I can only dream of looking this good.
Are you supposed to dress to your age? That’s just silly. She looks great. Her personality shines through her style. I don’t think age should dictate your choices.
My mother still wears high-waisted, tapered pants because of an “Above 30″ fashion expo she saw on TV, and now I can’t talk her out of that 80s, feminity-suppressing style for the life of me. …Mia looks adorable. Personally, I feel if anything is jejune, it’s the article.
Mia looks/is great. What is wrong with you?
does it really matter what people are wearing? i think fashion critics need to chill out and use their energy for something more important, like changing the world for the better, instead of bashing people because of how they look.
heh. sorry cynthia, but you’re well wide of the mark with this one. im glad to see other people have pointed out that your ageism is misplaced.
mia farrow is (and always has been) a beautiful woman, and however she chooses to dress is up to her. its a good thing stars like her dont care what small minded critics like yourself think – shes an example to us all.
I must agree with the majority this is blatant ageism- mia does look fantastic and fun i see absolutely nothing wrong with the way she is dressed – she looks cute and cute is not only reserved for 12 year olds- lets not forget mature men can look cute too in funny hats and bold prints-
so sorry but shut it!!
I think Mia looks great both for her age and beacause she simply does. I would much rather seem a grown woman cute pigtails instead of old lady slacks and orthopedic shoes or having it all hang out to try and boost confidence. You should have fun with clothing, try it!
Mia looks WAAAAAAY hipper in her cute, event-appropriate pigtails. Way may interesting than a suburban, 40-something lepoard print blouse. Ooops, is that what you are wearing, Cynthia?
