Day Four: Fashion Week

Today was a long, but important day in Fashion Week: Carolina Herrera, Cynthia Steffe, Jill Stuart, Oscar de la Renta, Reem Acra, Betsey Johnson, BCBG and Marc Jacobs. Whew!
Already there are some trends emerging from these New York designers including pleating, a stronger/sexier vibe (like Jill Stuart's black satin dress cut the there paired with knee boots. See photo, left), a continued infatuation with all things vintage (like chunky knits and classic silhouettes), leggings with dresses (young and very cute), the color red (everywhere!), bold menswear patterns (Who are we kidding?
