Question of the Week: Is it OK to Wear Long Ivory Dress to Daytime Wedding?

A long dress is generally too formal for a daytime wedding. Also, many brides do wear ivory, and this might compete a bit with the bride. A short dress (which is any length except to the floor) in a color besides white or ivory would be a better option.
