Designer Eveningwear

At the recent Dallas Apparel Market, a line of wonderful eveningwear separates caught my eye. The vibrant jewel tones were a perfect match to the handmade Thai silk, the fabric of choice for designer Marisa Baratelli. There were crisp shirts, sexy bustiers and skirts.
You can tell this is a line designed by a woman, for a woman: little details like a one-size-fits all wrap bustier (great for those of us who go up and down sizes) and black trims or bows on almost all of the tops so that they tie back to the black skirts and pants that most of us already own.
