Why is it that most back to school fashions include clothes that certain people just shouldn’t wear? For example one of the most talked about things that’s a “must have” is skinny jeans. First of all I’m sick and tired of seeing girls who think that their the hottest thing under the sun dresses like prostitutes and/or in things that are just too small for them. I think that girls my age should try dressing like their age or at least have the body to wear shorter and/or tighter things because hey if we have to look at somone in a mini skirt and halter top it probaly wouldn’t rub us the wrong way if you actually looked good in it. People should wear what they want despite if it’s hip or not. I’m a 9th grader who spends most of her life in a Hot Topic rather than an Abercrombie and Fitch. It should be no surprise that I would stand out in a crowd but that doesn’t mean that you have dress like a whore to do it. I’m a size 3 and 5′3 so I know that I’m petite and like almost every other girl I like to show that off but just let me say there’s a line between classy and trashy wear what you want and be an individual just try not to look like a street walker. That’s what’s hot for back to school.

i dis-agree with you, isabelle. Yes, skinny jeans might be the look right now. but we can’t call them the ‘trend’ or ‘in’ because my mom wore them when she was a kid too. it was the style then too. just wear what you want. don’t wear something that you know is IN because everyone else says it is. For instince, Plaid is in style right now, but next year i guarentee you it won’t be. so why bother wasting all your money on the latest trends just to fit in and then look like a last years trend setter next year? buy what YOU like. not what the world likes.

i don’t wear skinny jeans. i wear the pencil jeans because i don’t like alot of flare but i don’t like the skinnys. all my friends wear skinnys and i don’t mind. everyone has different sizes. so match your look. if your petite, you wouldnt’ nessesarily want to wear flare jeans because it would make you look shorter. if you’re tall like me with a bigger waist, wear pencils.
